If this sounds exciting, apply todayJob Summary: Pack solid product such as molded drops, chunks, discs, bars from molding process into containers ensuring proper count or weight for shipment.
Responsibilities:
Ensure tools and equipment is in good working order, report any defective materials missing or damaged tools to the Supervisor. Responsible for product quality, monitoring of all products produced on the line. Completing paperwork. Prepare boxes for production line. Load finished molded product into boxes or super sacks. Weight boxes and load onto pallet. Sort product that does not meet quality standards. Other duties as requiredQualifications:
Previous manufacturing experience is considered an asset. Fork lift/truck experience is an asset.Work Environment:
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time; climb stairs, ladders Regularly required to bend, stoop, reach to clean areas. Daily exposure to noise, dust and a variation in temperature (hot/cold). Company provides uniform, hearing, eye and hair protection. Offers reimbursement for safety footwear and prescription safety glasses. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. 24/7 manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be required to work rotating 12 hour shifts. This means approximately 14 shifts per month.Wages/Benefits:
Wages range between $ and $ per hour to start. $ per hour shift premium for night shift. Medical, dental, vision coverage and life insurance after 3 month probationary period. Company paid pension plan (5% contributions at NO cost to the employee) after 1 year of service. Paid personal time/annual vacation.
