The Assistant/Sr. Assistant Marketing Manager – Aeroplan Acquisition will be responsible for managing the Amex Aeroplan co-brand acquisition portfolio. This role will offer a unique opportunity to shape the future success of Amex Aeroplan co-brand acquisition and gain experience working with a key strategic partner. It’s a very exciting time to join the Aeroplan Acquisition team
The successful candidate will lean on their relationship-building skills, analytical skills and loyalty subject matter expertise to push innovation and differentiation, while maintaining a continued mandate to drive card acquisition.
Responsibilities will include:
Portfolio Management
Be the subject matter expert of Amex Aeroplan co-brand cards Understanding of current regulatory environment with proven focus and accountability to ensure effective customer engagement and acquisition tactics Monitor, understand and articulate the performance of the portfolio across key marketing channels Collaborate with stakeholders to develop the annual marketing strategy and acquisition plan Monitor internal and external trends to help inform acquisition strategies Manage the roll out of key strategic initiatives and campaigns to support the overall acquisition objectives Own and manage the marketing budget and allocation of spend across the various channels/tactics
Partner/Stakeholder Management
Partner with Air Canada to ensure key priorities and objectives are aligned and delivered Collaborate and influence external and internal stakeholders to gain buy-in on key projects and campaigns Develop content for business updates and performance review with both internal and Air Canada teams
Campaign/Channel Management
Deliver marketing campaigns from conception to implementation Work with creative agencies and internal stakeholders to develop and execute winning marketing strategies Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to develop and recommend best practices to improve campaign performance
Minimum Qualifications
University degree in Marketing / Business / Commerce, or equivalent combination of education and business experience Minimum 2-year experience in an equivalent marketing position Previous digital marketing and/or partner management experience is an asset Strong analytical abilities, proficiency in interpreting and deriving insights from complex data Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams and external partners Strong communication skills with experience in developing and delivering presentations to peers and senior management Ability to work well in an autonomous environment with skillsets to juggle and prioritize concurrent initiatives High attention to detail, with a focus on qualityWe back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
