Astellas Pharma Canada (APCA) is currently searching for a Regional Learning Program Liaison, Women’s Health reporting to National Sales Lead, Canada.
Purpose and Scope:
The Women’s Health Regional Learning Program Liaison:
- Is the primary Astellas liaison with key regional education stakeholders to support health care professional (HCP) practice improvement to optimize patient care in menopause.
- Works in partnership with the Astellas team to develop and execute a regional learning strategy and tactical plan, aligned with the identified unmet medical needs in menopause management and aligned to strategic priorities and the national education plan.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Engage with regional professional associations/conference providers and HCPs to gather feedback and insights on regional learning needs to develop a customer centric Astellas Learning Strategy Plan in menopause care.
- Partner with Astellas’ Learning Programs Manager and field staff to develop and execute on the Learning Strategy Plan in each key region/province.
- Enable the development of programs to address the unmet need while ensuring confirmation and documentation of unmet learning needs.
- Collaborate with Thought Leaders, Faculty, and Speakers to advance learning content and provide unbiased learning opportunities that meet HCP needs in both official languages.
- Partner with Medical/Medical Science Liaisons to ensure speaker needs are addressed.
- Partner with the field based Therapeutic Specialists to execute impactful learning programs.
- Responsible for working with Operational Excellence to ensure a streamlined and sound process for the implementation of Learning Activities (i.e., OLAs).
- Lead the development and ongoing execution of strategic learning plans from strategic concept through implementation, execution, design, and deployment including budget and vendor management, leveraging their scientific and clinical therapeutic area knowledge and business acumen.
- Collaborate with Brand team(s) to understand commercial strategy, Medical to incorporate the latest scientific data, Sales for logistical implementation of educational solutions and Compliance to ensure the highest ethical standards ensuring alignment with adult learning principles.
- Provide an excellent learning experience that triggers practice change to optimize patient care.
- Accountable to delivering performance targets based on identified learning objectives.
- Analyze metrics, industry trends and competitive programs to obtain insights to anticipate learning needs, continuously improve existing programs, and make recommendations for future learning programs.
- Drive a culture of cross functional collaboration to ensure HCP learning needs are met and integrated into regional planning.
- Accountable for maintaining a thorough understanding and adherence to all applicable code, policies and regulations (i.e. Innovation Medicines Canada Code of Ethical Practices, code of conduct, etc.). Upholds a commitment to compliance and operates with integrity within all business activities.
- Be aware of, and comply with, the Astellas Way and Astellas Competencies, in terms of expected values and behaviours, Astellas’ HR policies, procedures and guidelines.

Astellas Pharma Canada (APCA) est à la recherche d’un agent ou d’une agente de liaison régional(e) en programmes d’apprentissage, Santé des femmes, qui relèvera du directeur ou de la directrice national(e) des ventes, Santé des femmes.
Objectif et portée :
L’agent(e) de liaison régional(e) en programmes d’apprentissage, Santé des femmes :
- Agit comme agent(e) principal(e) entre Astellas et les principaux intervenants en formation de la région afin de soutenir le perfectionnement des pratiques des professionnels de la santé et d’optimiser les soins aux patientes pendant la ménopause;
- Travaille en partenariat avec l’équipe d’Astellas pour élaborer et mettre en œuvre une stratégie d’apprentissage et un plan tactique régionaux en tenant compte des besoins médicaux non satisfaits en matière de prise en charge de la ménopause, et en se conformant aux priorités stratégiques et au plan de formation national.
Principales responsabilités du poste :
- Consulter les associations professionnelles, les organisateurs de conférences et les professionnels de la santé régionaux pour recueillir leurs commentaires et idées sur les besoins d’apprentissage régionaux, et ainsi élaborer pour Astellas un plan stratégique d’apprentissage axé sur la patiente en soins de la ménopause;
- Travailler en partenariat avec le ou la responsable des programmes d’apprentissage d’Astellas et le personnel sur le terrain afin de préparer et de mettre en œuvre le plan stratégique d’apprentissage dans chaque région/province clé;
- Favoriser la conception de programmes visant à répondre aux besoins non satisfaits tout en veillant à confirmer et à documenter les besoins d’apprentissage non satisfaits;
- Collaborer avec les leaders d’opinion, le corps professoral et les conférenciers pour enrichir le contenu d’apprentissage et offrir des formations objectives répondant aux besoins des professionnels de la santé dans les deux langues officielles;
- Travailler en partenariat avec les agents de liaison médicale/en sciences médicales pour s’assurer que les besoins des conférenciers sont pris en compte;
- Travailler en partenariat avec les spécialistes du domaine thérapeutique sur le terrain pour mettre en œuvre des programmes d’apprentissage efficaces;
- Collaborer avec le service Excellence opérationnelle afin de garantir un processus de mise en œuvre rationnel et fiable des activités d’apprentissage (c.-à-d. d’autres activités d’apprentissage);
- Piloter l’élaboration et la réalisation continue de plans d’apprentissage stratégiques, de la réflexion stratégique jusqu’au déploiement, en passant par la conception, la mise en place et l’application, y compris la gestion du budget et des fournisseurs. Le ou la titulaire du poste devra donc s’appuyer sur ses connaissances scientifiques et cliniques des domaines thérapeutiques et sur son sens aigu des affaires;
- Collaborer avec une ou plusieurs équipes de la marque pour se familiariser avec la stratégie commerciale, avec l’équipe médicale pour obtenir les données scientifiques les plus récentes, avec l’équipe des ventes pour organiser la mise en œuvre logistique des formations et avec l’équipe de la conformité pour assurer le respect des normes éthiques les plus strictes, conformément aux principes d’apprentissage des adultes;
- Offrir une expérience d’apprentissage hors pair qui encourage une évolution des pratiques et permet une meilleure prise en charge des patients;
- Assurer l’atteinte des objectifs de rendement établis à partir des objectifs d’apprentissage déterminés;
- Analyser les données, les tendances sectorielles et les programmes concurrents afin de mieux anticiper les besoins de formation, d’améliorer continuellement les programmes existants et de formuler des recommandations pour de futurs programmes d’apprentissage;
- Promouvoir une culture de collaboration interfonctionnelle afin de s’assurer que les besoins d’apprentissage des professionnels de la santé sont satisfaits et pris en compte dans la planification régionale;
- S’occuper du maintien d’une compréhension approfondie et du respect de tous les codes, politiques et règlements applicables (c.-à-d. le Code d’éthique de MNC, le Code de conduite, etc.); Respecter l’engagement de conformité et agir avec intégrité dans le cadre des activités de l’entreprise;
- Connaître et respecter l’approche et les compétences d’Astellas en matière de valeurs et de comportements attendus, ainsi que les politiques, procédures et lignes directrices relatives aux ressources humaines.
