Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a Business Insights Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is autonomous, analytically minded, business-oriented, and has a passion for uncovering and presenting business insights from raw data. As a Business Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data, extracting actionable business and market insights, delivering polished presentations to our customers, and advising customers on their data needs. You will source and clean data, complete thorough analysis, and create visualizations to create engaging and insightful presentations for our customers. You will be a subject matter expert in communicating our robust data methodologies and processes, and answering our customer's technical questions about Citylitics data.

What Will You Accomplish?

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of Citylitics data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that are relevant and critical to our customers
  • Develop and maintain market analytics and business insights models to support insights presentations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven recommendations
  • Create impactful visualizations and presentations to communicate high value insights to our customers
  • Proactively advise our customers on their data requirements that align with their business needs and priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets
  • 5+ years experience in a market insights or business intelligence role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
