Based in downtown Toronto, we are an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and collaborative team working towards transforming the way Canadians shop by creating leading eCommerce experiences in the online grocery shopping, beauty, pharmacy, loyalty, and apparel spaces, and we’re only just getting started To achieve these goals, we are looking for talented and passionate individuals who want to collaborate and solve challenging problems and make significant and lasting impact on Canadians.  Why is this role important : The Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations will lead high-profile strategic projects, act as a thought-partner for senior leaders across the company, structure and implement analysis and develop insights and recommendations to move the business forward. To be successful in this role, the Senior Manager will be expected to break down complex problems, develop hypotheses, influence and handle multiple partners, lead cross-functional project teams, balance workload across multiple projects and competing priorities, and command strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.As an ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in Strategy, ideally from a credible consulting firm or in-house strategy team, and you will be eager to enhance your skills and build expertise across all areas that our team covers. Note: This role is hybrid - 3 days in office and 1 day remote.

What you'll do:

Leading or supporting cross-functional strategic projects by forming hypotheses, conducting research, facilitating discussion and developing data analyses that drive to insights and actionable solutions  Preparing executive presentation materials for internal & external meetings, including presentations to senior executives, townhall key notes, etc. Providing internal and external insights to support business decisions (, macro trends, competitive impacts, etc.) Developing and implementing process improvements and/or organizational changes Serve as a liaison between senior leaders and between Loblaw Digital and Loblaw enterprise teams Facilitate the development of the annual 3-year strategic plan by working with business leadership teams and Loblaw enterprise functions Coach or develop other team members

What you bring:

More than 5 years of work experience in a relevant field with demonstrated cross-functional project leadership experience. This is a great opportunity for those with experience in consulting, private equity, corporate strategy, chief of staff or similar roles at technology companies  Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated analytical capabilities.
