The City of Port Coquitlam is currently looking for an energetic, results orientated individual to join our team as our Systems Support Analyst to provide end-user support for our enterprise business applications. The successful incumbent will be responsible for end-user support, installing patches and upgrades, and working with users to identify problems and possible solutions. In addition, the incumbent provides advice and assistance to users and performs the maintenance of application user accounts, report updates, and works within a team to implement new system processes and modules to help improve business operations.

Highly organized analytical thinker with strong computer application, problem definition and resolution skills Considerable knowledge of computer programming methods, practices and procedures A diploma in computer technology supplemented by technical courses related to the work Two years directly related experience including knowledge of Municipal and/or financial enterprise applications and databases and with one or more programming languages A valid Class 5 Driver’s License for BC Proven ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing with a variety of individuals A commitment to service excellence and continuous improvementWhy should you consider working for us?
