IMPACT

The Group Account Director, Activation is responsible for management and leadership of unified and client-focused Search, Social, Programmatic and eCommerce activation teams within the agency.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Client and Agency

Establish, own, monitor, optimize, performance metrics of client campaigns within relevant platforms Work with clients, agency leadership and performance leads to uncover business needs and objectives Develop, maintain and refine trusted relationships and service levels that bridge key client and agency stakeholders Proactively identify and solve client risks before they escalate

Team Leadership

Lead unified multi-channel activation team members supporting Search, Social, Programmatic and e-Commerce campaign planning, execution, and optimizations to achieve client KPIs and award-winning outcomes Provide strategic input to manage and develop campaigns with various strategies, such as, prospecting, remarketing, contextual targeting to meet client goals Oversee client activation performance audits and GroupM best practice implementation to enhance client outcomes across channels Lead deployment of available GroupM automation and product solutions across agency clients Develop process and lead compliance to mitigate risk throughout media activation lifecycle Understand clients' business and coach team members to enhance client performance with new ideas Assist agency teams and clients to define their performance marketing approach to achieve business results Manage project plans, scope of work, and timelines meeting delivery all required expectations Develop relationships of key platform partners Develop and own activation team staff plans (onshore / offshore), monitoring hours to ensure effective client-focused service levels and efficiency Ensure best practice optimization approaches to meet client objectives as well as workflows with internal groups Lead team & agency training sessions related to media activation and GroupM best practices. P&L and Business Development Support Collaborate with Media Solutions & agency partners to identify and develop proposals Support client growth roadmap creation and overall product adoption Support budget development and client forecasting Develop media strategies for new business pitches Collaborate with agency and wider GroupM / Nexus team to identify opportunities for SEO, Content, and other services JOB REQUIREMENT 8+ years of related industry experience, and demonstrated strong client relationship responsibility, preferably agency: Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, eCommerce, SEO Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Demonstrated track record of client relationship development and service Strong knowledge or proven experience account management/coordination, buying, client/campaign strategy, and media planning Highly developed communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills Advanced ability to plan, implement and manage strategic and operational initiatives Keen attention to details, robust critical thinking and proactive problem-solving Foster a team culture that creates highly effective teams who delight clients with great service and media results Experience in leading cross functional teams
