**Position Status**: Permanent Full-Time

**Description of the Position**:
Working as a member of the Corporate and Community Partnerships (CCP) team, the Associate Director, Activation is responsible for building and leading the Activation Center of Excellence by designing and delivering experiential brand marketing support to drive loyalty with corporate partners and community event organizers, supporting annual revenues of $40M+. In collaboration with relationship managers, the Associate Director is accountable for designing systems and tools to deliver memorable, engaging, on-brand support to inspire donor groups to achieve their fundraising goals and drive loyalty to SickKids Foundation.
The Associate Director will be the strategic liaison for internal partners within the Foundation (Brand, Content & Communications, Donor Experience & Impact, etc.) ensuring streamlined communications and a framework to ensure a consistent donor journey for our Corporate and Community partners. They will report to the Director, Cause Marketing & Activation.
**You will**:
- Play a critical role in developing and managing strategic partnerships to enhance the organization’s visibility and revenue
- Collaborate with internal teams and manage relationships with sponsors and donors
- Ensure successful execution of all deliverables
- Assist in creating and implementing a comprehensive sponsorship and activation strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Develop and implement programs that reinforce the SickKids Foundation brand and cause, driving revenue and engagement
- Provide a framework for donor-led fundraising initiatives, including community events, cause campaigns, sponsorship properties, and corporate activity
- Design best-in-class toolkits and systems to deliver memorable, engaging, and on-brand support for donor groups to achieve fundraising goals
- Oversee revenue trajectory for sponsorship properties
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute programs, resources, and tools that drive partner engagement and activation in support of SickKids
- Deliver measurable results and provide post-event reporting and ROI analysis
- Manage internal and external staff in the execution and delivery of fundraising programs
- Build and strengthen executive-level relationships through leadership, relationship building, and strategic program development
- Seek innovative and breakthrough ideas by staying current with best practices, "first-to-market" opportunities, design thinking, and emerging technologies

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- 6+ years of marketing team management, client service, and project/campaign management experience
- Solution oriented with the ability to be creative and optimize resources to drive new initiatives or enhancing existing programs
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver products and programs on-time and within budget
- Ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team to deliver top performance against business goals
- Excellent interpersonal skills, experience in client management is a necessity
- Ability to develop and sustain strong working relationships with executive staff, colleagues across the organization and donors alike
