Role: Infant & Toddler Early Childhood Educator (ECE-IT)
Wage: $23.80 - $25.76 per hour plus Government Wage Enhancement (currently $6.00/hour for fully certified Early Childhood Educators)

About the Program:
The YMCA BC is the largest not-for-profit provider of child care in Canada and the YMCA BC is the largest provider in the north, serving: Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort St. James, Fort St. John, Hudson’s Hope, Prince George, Pouce Coupe, Tumbler Ridge and Vanderhoof. YMCA Child Care is a home away from home.
Responsibilities of this role:
Interact directly with the children, providing quality care and creative programming. Establish and maintain positive daily communications and interactions with families Assist in planning and implementing of a consistent child-centred program To work with staff team to deliver a high quality and age-appropriate programs based on the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum Adhere to all Child Care Licensing Regulations and YMCA Child Protection PoliciesQualifications:
Current and valid Infant & Toddler Early Childhood Educator License to Practice Three satisfactory professional references & experience working with children in a child care/recreational setting Current child care First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain & Satisfactory Criminal Record and Clear Vulnerable Sector SearchAbout YMCA BC:
