Responsabilités :
- Soutenir le responsable des pensions et des avantages sociaux (TR – P&B) dans la conception, l’amélioration et la mise en œuvre continues des régimes de retraite et des avantages sociaux.
- Agir à titre d'expert en matière d'avantages sociaux et de régimes de retraite en répondant aux questions des directeurs des ressources humaines, des partenaires commerciaux en ressources humaines, des employés, des retraités et des syndicats sur les dispositions des régimes et en résolvant les problèmes signalés.
- Diriger les processus de retraite (pension) de fin d'année qui comprendront les éléments suivants :
- Examen et validation des dossiers d'avantages imposables et des gains ouvrant droit à pension pour les régimes à prestations définies ; et
- Coordination avec les administrateurs du régime de retraite pour fournir tous les éléments de données requis pour effectuer les calculs du facteur d'équivalence en temps opportun.
- Remplir les dépôts gouvernementaux requis (déclarations de renseignements annuelles)
- Assurer la liaison avec les tiers impliqués dans la gouvernance des comités de régimes de retraite
- Analyser les coûts/économies dans les décisions commerciales lors des négociations de conventions collectives, des réorganisations, des ventes et acquisitions, etc.
- Aider à la gestion financière des régimes d'avantages sociaux en préparant des rapports budgétaires et prévisionnels pour la direction.
- Assurer l'intégrité des bases de données auprès de nos différents administrateurs et collaborer avec les différents intervenants pour assurer l'exactitude des informations (Fournisseur de paie, système RH, etc.)
- Rédiger des communications destinées aux RH, à la direction et aux employés concernant les programmes de retraite, en tirant parti du courrier électronique.
- Aider Total Rewards Manager dans la gestion de projet, grâce à une organisation efficace, une documentation, un suivi des progrès, une gestion des délais et une priorisation des tâches.
- Suivre le handicap et enrichir le tableau de bord de gestion du handicap
- Participer à des projets de rémunération totale pour nos employés canadiens, principalement en ce qui concerne les processus annuels d'analyse comparative et de rémunération.
Profil requis :
- Baccalauréat en ressources humaines, commerce, statistiques, mathématiques actuarielles ou dans un domaine connexe
- Minimum 5 ans d'expérience préalable en retraite et avantages sociaux
- Connaissance des programmes d'avantages sociaux des employés et des régimes de retraite à prestations et à cotisations définies, ainsi que des lois et règlements liés au Canada.
- Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais
Accountabilities:
- Support the Pension and Benefit (TR – P&B) manager with the ongoing design, enhancement, and implementation of pension plans and benefits.
- Act as an expert related to employee benefits and pension plans by providing answers to questions from HR Directors, HR Business Partners, employees, retirees and unions on plan provisions and resolve escalated issues
- Lead the year-end retirement (pension) processes which will include the following:
- Review and validation of taxable benefits files and pensionable earnings for Defined Benefit Plans; and
- Coordination with the pension plan administrators to provide all required data elements to complete Pension Adjustment calculations in a timely manner.
- Completing required governmental filings (Annual Information Returns)
- Liaise with third parties involved for the governance of the pension plans committees
- Analyze costs/savings in business decisions during collective bargaining agreement negotiations, reorganizations, sales & acquisitions, etc
- Assist with the financial management of the benefit plans by preparing budget and forecast reports for management
- Ensure integrity of the databases with our various administrators and collaborate with the various stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of the information (Payroll vendor, HR system, etc.)
- Draft communications for HR, management, and employees regarding retirement programs, leveraging email.
- Assist Total Rewards Manager with project management, through effective organization, documentation, tracking progress, managing deadlines and prioritization of tasks.
- Monitor disability and enhance the management disability dashboard
- Participate on total compensation projects for our Canadian employees, primarily with respect to the annual benchmarking and compensation processes.
Required profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, Actuarial Mathematics, or related area
- Minimum 5 years prior experience in Pension & Benefits
- Knowledge of employee benefit programs and defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans, as well of laws and regulations related to Canada
- Fluent in French and English
