How you'll make an impact Develop new business and manage client relationships, including interviewing clients for prospective risk exposures/issues and presenting quotes. Plan and prioritize sales activities to achieve sales targets. Own the client renewal process, arranging and attending appointments, and providing updated file information for renewal and/or re-marketing when necessary. Represent the company in select associations. Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships. About you 3 years of experience in the insurance industry. Level 1 and/or Level 2 provincial insurance license Proven track record of attracting and retaining commercial clients. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Ability to learn on a continual basis through educational opportunities and collaboration with colleagues. Proficiency in MS products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe products. Insurance designations and/or completed courses towards designations. Client service and advocacy experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both clients and colleagues. Ability to work effectively as part of a successful team to achieve objectives. Solution-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to develop resourceful and innovative approaches and solutions.
