What You'll Do
Join a team focused on staying on top of trends in the Canadian banking industry. Support the Bank’s Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing (‘AML/ATF’) Program and team to gain hands-on experience in detecting, preventing and reporting money laundering and/or terrorist financing activities, which are essential in safeguarding the integrity of our financial system.
Support Canadian Tire Bank’s (‘CTB’) AML/ATF team in a variety of activities related to the AML/ ATF Program. Support ongoing monitoring efforts by performing periodic reviews of customer accounts and transactions. Assist in reviewing customer transactions and conducting analysis to identify potential instances of money laundering or terrorist financing. Assist in preparing regulatory reports to be submitted to the Regulators. Develop and foster relationships internally and across various business units at CTB Support ongoing monitoring efforts by performing periodic reviews of customer accounts and transactions. Gain practical experience through assisting the AML/ATF investigation team with cases Perform data entry tasks related to transactional information and support with ad-hoc organizational tasksWhat You Bring
Currently enrolled in post-secondary program focussed in finance, economics, criminology, law, business administration, and accounting Demonstrated interest or exposure to compliance and regulatory studies, fraud administration, anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing, sanction evasion or risk management considered an asset, specifically AML/ATF/Sanctions. Strong team skills combined with the ability to work independently. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Hybrid

Applicants for this role must be available to work onsite in Oakville OR St. Catherines a minimum of two days a week.
