Position Overview

Please note, our preference will be to hire a Business Analyst II, however, if there are no qualified applicants, we may hire a Business Analyst I. Please see the attached job descriptions and qualifications below for more information on all positions. 

The successful candidate for a Business Analyst II ($47.732/hour) must have the following qualifications:

  1. Completion of a post-secondary degree in Information Technology, Business, Sciences or Engineering.
  2. Completion of a minimum of four courses that are recognized in an accredited Business Analysis or Project Management Certificate Program. 
  3. Minimum three years' previous experience in Business Analysis with enterprise applications, including project management, application life cycle support, and systems architecture.
     

The successful candidate for a  Business Analyst I ($46.098/hour) must have the following qualifications:    

  1. Completion of a post-secondary degree in Information Technology, Business, Sciences, or Engineering.
  2. Completion of a minimum of one course that is recognized in an accredited Business Analysis Certificate program.
  3. Minimum one year’s previous experience in Business Analysis with implementation and configuration or usage of enterprise-class systems.
     

A comprehensive benefits package is included with this position. For new hires, and for those working in designated positions of trust, including those working directly with vulnerable persons, no formal offer of employment will be made until an applicant completes a police information check. This is a CUPE local 900 position.
