MPHA 5P08: Public Health Emergency Preparedness

Compensation

Effective September 1, - $7,.48 per half course ( hours nominally)
Effective September 1, - $14,.95 per full course ( hours nominally)
Please note: Instructors who are employed in a 2-hour/week lecture, or the equivalent of a 2-hour/week lecture, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.

Duties

Duties and responsibilities will be in accordance with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement. These include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty).

Qualifications

1. A Doctoral Degree in Health Sciences or related field is required. If there are no qualified applicants, we will consider senior doctoral candidates.

2. Public Health background and/or research experience in public health emergency preparedness preferred.  

3. Previous experience teaching MPH and/or online graduate level courses preferred.
