Position Title:  ERP Support Technician
Position type: ( 2year Fixed Term employment contract)
Location: Trenton, ON

Duties:
  • Communicate with department personnel and SMEs to ensure timely delivery of project- alert manager when things are going off rail and timelines are at risk of not being achieved.
  • Ensure quality standards are met, in line with corporate objectives.
  • Able to complete data cleansing from legacy application prior to exporting to new.
  • Mapping legacy data to new database fields
  • Be hands on support of ERP implementation
  • Data transfer to the new system
  • Testing, verification and validation of legacy data and new data inputs. – you are experienced in what type of testing and validation needs to be done and can write the test scripts.
  • Support and/or lead other activities as required.
  • Creates documentation and training regarding application implementation and user instructions.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical challenges, contributing expertise to find innovative solutions
  • Be able to create documentation for training users and be able to train users
  • Be able to collect information from dept SME in order to support application -data refinement and data management-
Employment and Educational Requirements:
  • Strong Understanding of ERP structure to assist with implementation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Project
  • 3 years of ERP support experience minimum, with a wide range of modules. Experience and knowledge of Epicor/ Kinetic ERP is an asset.
  • Project and risk management principles
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
Formal Education and/or Certification(s) and Experience
  • Minimum: college diploma in systems engineering or related field with four years’ relevant experience, or the equivalent
  • Preferred: university degree in one of the above fields and/or additional training in project management
