The Property Management is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Contractor Management: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
- Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment for our staff and visitors.
- Team Supervision: Supervise other workers and provide guidance on maintenance tasks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Work Term and Hours: Work on a permanent basis, with a standard 40-hour workweek.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Language: English language proficiency.
