Please Note:

This is a contract position until the end of November 2024 .

You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.

Student, Software Developer

The Student, Software Developer is responsible for having a strong aptitude for understanding complex business problems and translating their technical knowledge into practical, implementable solutions that will drive high impact business value.

How you'll make an impact

He/she works closely with other team members to maintain internal applications and develop new products and services.

Work with stakeholders, technology, and product owners to define understand requirements for business queries and enhancements.

Design, develop, enhance, modify, and maintain application code and software solutions based on specific business requirements.

Liaise with internal user groups as needed to effectively program applications based on business and systems requirements.

Work collaboratively with peers and business partners to deliver high quality projects and innovative solutions to augment AXIS team’s ability to deliver on commitments.

What we're looking for

Passionate in developing database solutions

Development exposure in database applications and SQL like languages

Awareness on mutual fund/investment industry terms and Canadian registered products

Effective communication skills with ability to prepare project documentation & presentations
