We are looking for a Product Introduction Controller for various projects across Canada and the US.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Finance Managers to ensure the Product Introduction workpackage is properly aligned.
  • Coordinate financial reviews with the different operational managers from the Product Introduction team.
  • Prepare in coordination with the project team the different reports for the monthly Work Package Reviews following Alstom standards.
  • Ensure that actuals and cost at completion of a work package (WP) are accurate.
  • Pro-active activities to mitigate overcosts by making proposals to the different areas (Purchasing, Production...) to generate savings.
  • Ensure that all financial processes and internal controls, including DoA, are implemented, robust and compliant.
  • Provide management with reliable financial data in order to assist in the decision-making. 
  • Ad-hoc reporting on project including special investigations of issues arising 

 

Required Profile:

  • Graduate with financial background
  • 2-4 years of relevent work experience
  • Good technical as well as process understanding combined with a constant focus on possible optimizations
  • High affinity for working with numbers and/or processing and evaluating numbers
  • Good level of English, French an asset 
  • Sure handling of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Experience using ERP, SAP, an asset
  • Analytical thinking, high team and communication skills
  • Independent and solution-oriented way of working.
  • Team player and positive mindset.
