TF Freight Solutions is looking to hire a Acounts Payable Clerk based in Calgary, AB. 

The ideal candidate will have minimum of 2 years of experience processing large volumes of vendor invoices. Data entry skills are fundamental. Experience with Microsoft Office applications is required. Exposure to accounting would be consider an asset.

The successful candidate should have strong communications skills, the attention to detail, be an excellent team player, with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Scope of work:

  • Following proper procedures in organizing new vendor setup or vendor changes
  • Coding invoices for multiple reporting entities
  • Ensuring proper approval before entering invoices in the AP system
  • Generating EFT/ACH and cheque runs
  • Posting AP batches and assisting in the closing of AP module at month-end
  • Compiling unpaid invoices at month-end for accrual
  • Assisting in month-end journal entries and maintaining accounting records
  • Answering internal and external queries
