Accounts Payable Specialist

CB Canada is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Calgary. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's accounts payable function.
Key Responsibilities- Process and verify accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Prepare and send payments to vendors, ensuring timely and efficient payment processing
- Resolve accounts payable issues with vendors, providing excellent customer service and communication
- Perform vendor account and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Assist with special projects and tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
- 1+ year of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a mid-to-large sized company
- Accounting diploma and/or working towards CPA accounting designation
- Knowledge of the accounting cycle and fast and accurate data entry skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with diverse groups
- Experience with SAP or other large ERP platforms is an asset
