Accounts Payable Specialist

CB Canada is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Calgary. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's accounts payable function.
Key Responsibilities- Process and verify accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Prepare and send payments to vendors, utilizing a high volume of transactions
- Resolve accounts payable issues with vendors, maintaining positive relationships
- Perform vendor account and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
- 1+ year of experience in an accounts payable department, preferably in a mid-to-large sized company
- Accounting diploma and/or working towards CPA accounting designation
- Knowledge of the accounting cycle and experience with 3-way match
- Fast and accurate data entry skills, with ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with SAP or other large ERP platforms is an asset
