Alta Vista Animal Hospital is welcoming a team oriented and flexible full time Veterinarian to our General Practice team. As a successful candidate, you understand the importance of building relationships with our pet parents and our support team, to provide the best care possible. A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada

Experience in; soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice.

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are required, French is an asset.

Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices

Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and community

A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey

An interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues

A love for all companion animals

Alta Vista Animal Hospital is a large hybrid located in Ottawa, the Nation’s Capital, offering Specialty Services, 24 hour Emergency Care and a large complementary General Practice. With a team of 160 staff, including 30 veterinarians, Alta Vista has been serving the community for 60 years. Advanced diagnostic equipment including MRI, CT, U/S, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, digital radiology (including dental) along with Smartflow digitalized patient care.
