The Sales Analytics Intern, Pre-Owned role at BMW Group Canada offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team. You will help develop and steer advanced analytical capabilities by designing, analyzing, and implementing innovative data solutions, directly impacting critical aspects of the business. In addition, you will provide operational support within the Remarketing (wholesale) and Pre-Owned (retail) operations, offering a unique learning experience across the entire used car business.
The Sales Analytics Intern, Pre-Owned role will work across the following areas:
Pricing, Analytics and Reporting
Build, analyze and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports. Work with MySQL to build and maintain key data sets to empower operational and exploratory analysis. Conduct analytical tasks to improve processes, reporting systems and results.Remarketing
Analyzing and providing insights related to auction sale data. Physical auction vehicle preparation and management. Administrative support including invoicing and monthly accruals.Pre-Owned
Monitors sales program performance including impact on lead generation, CPO penetration and used car retail sales. Build and maintain reports to support the steering of Pre-Owned KPI’s. Support national CPO marketing (digital, POS, CRM, media) including strategy development, implementation, and agency management. Administrative support including month-end processes, sale program setup and invoice processing. Qualifications
• Recent graduate in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• Minimum one year experience within Sales, Marketing or Business Development.
• Experience with data visualization and discovery tools (Tableau strongly preferred).
• Fluency in MySQL and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access.
• Analytical thinking, gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data.
• Ability to communicate results of analysis in a clear and effective manner.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Motivated to drive change with hands-on mentality.
