Siebel BI Developer
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Siebel BI Developer is required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes:
  • Developing detailed programming specifications
  • Siebel BI Developer will be writing and/or generating code
  • Compiling data-driven programs,
  • Maintaining, and conducting unit tests
  • Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems that arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations
 
Must Haves:
  • Experience in Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Storage, ADF, Azure Analysis Service
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis developing business intelligence and reporting in a medium to large-size corporate environment demonstrating detailed knowledge of BI functions such as analytics, data modeling & data mining, reporting, report conversion, and data cleansing.
  • 10+ years of experience with Siebel technical configuration/design/development/integration
  • Experience in OBIEE and PowerBI report development
 
Nice To Have
  • Experience with Siebel modules such as Public Sector CRM, Contracts, Lead, Management, Partner, Public Sector Partner Portal, Campaign Management, Marketing, Resource Manager, and Public Sector e-service would be an asset
 
Evaluation Criteria
  • BI & Siebel Development Skills - 40 %
  • 10+ years of experience with Siebel technical configuration/design/development/integration
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis developing business intelligence and reporting in a medium to large-size corporate environment demonstrating detailed knowledge of BI functions such as analytics, data modeling & data mining, reporting, report conversion, and data cleansing.
  • Experience in Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Storage, ADF, Azure Analysis Service
  • 5+ years of experience with Siebel EIM/EAI.
  • Experience with Assignment Manager, Business Rules, Workflow, Applets, Views, Screens, Code/Scripts, and related Siebel Business Layer objects.
  • Experience with Siebel Tools Software and editing Siebel Web Templates.
  • Experience in using Siebel Open UI-specific classes and Methods.
  • Demonstrated possession of Siebel 8.x or above certification.
  • Experience in Siebel Open UI Architecture (Physical Model, Presentation Model) and OOTB OUI file structures and limitations.
  • Experience in UI integration (embedding external applications in Siebel, Exposing Siebel in External applications)
  • Report Development Skills - 35%
  • Experience in OBIEE and PowerBI report development
  • Experience in HTML 5, Cascading Style Sheet, JQuery and JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of Open UI Concepts-PM, PR, Manifest File, and Mapping files
  • Soft Skills- 20%
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work with functional and technical teams Demonstrated ability to participate in large teams and work closely with other individual team members
  • Proven analytical skills and systematic problem-solving
  • Strong ability to work under pressure, work with aggressive timelines, and be adaptive to change
  • Displays problem-solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems
  • Public sector Experience- 5%
  • Experience with Siebel modules such as Public Sector CRM, Contracts, Lead, Management, Partner, Public Sector Partner Portal, Campaign Management, Marketing, Resource Manager, and Public Sector eService would be an asset
  • Experience with Grants Management would be an asset.
