Job Title: Software Developer - CRM

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 06 Months (Extension possible)

Responsibilities: As a Senior Software Developer specializing in Siebel Development, you will be responsible for translating technical systems specifications into functional applications, ensuring they are tested and operational. Your key duties include:

  • Developing detailed programming specifications.
  • Writing and/or generating code for data-driven programs.
  • Compiling, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
  • Resolving and troubleshooting technical issues during software package usage.
  • Providing technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations.

General Skills: We are looking for candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Programming and analysis experience with specialized software packages.
  • Collaboration with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Proficiency in structured methodologies for application development, design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Experience in design, code, test, debug, and documentation of applications.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented and/or third-generation language development tools.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages and application design concepts.
  • Knowledge of relational and hierarchical database technologies.
  • Experience with information retrieval packages and query languages.
  • Familiarity with communications protocols and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work well in teams and meet deadlines consistently.

Desirable Skills: Additionally, the following skills and experiences would be beneficial:

  • Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications.
  • Familiarity with rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.
  • Understanding of Information Management principles and practices.
  • Experience with middleware, gateways, and product installation scripts.
  • Post-implementation support and technical issue resolution.
  • Conducting design walkthrough sessions and providing user/system documentation.
  • Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) standards.

Experience And Skill Set Requirements

BI & Siebel Development Skills -

  • 10+ years of Siebel technical configuration/design/development/integration experience.
  • 5+ years of data analysis for business intelligence in medium to large corporate environments.
  • Experience with Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Storage, ADF, Azure Analysis Service.
  • 5+ years of Siebel EIM/EAI experience.
  • Proficiency in Siebel Tools Software and Siebel Web Templates editing.
  • Certification in Siebel 8.x or above.
  • Familiarity with Siebel Open UI Architecture and UI integration.

Report Development Skills -

  • Experience in OBIEE and PowerBI report development.
  • Proficiency in HTML 5, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of Open UI Concepts.

Soft Skills -

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to develop and present new ideas.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and team collaboration skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability to changing environments and deadlines.

Public Sector Experience -

  • Familiarity with Siebel modules such as Public Sector CRM, Contracts, Lead Management, etc.
  • Experience with Grants Management would be advantageous.
