Welders or Apprentice Welders

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Welding Supervisor, Welder is responsible for fitting, assembling and welding parts and components of a structural nature in accordance with blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions to produce agricultural equipment.

Responsibilities:

Operation of required measuring instruments – tape measures, micrometer and weld fillet gage.Welds components in flat position.Complete welds as per company drawings, standards and procedures.Recording of process sheets and daily work tickets (interval and first off checks).Maintain a clean and organized work area.Perform all other work activities as assigned and required.

Education, Experience and Knowledge Required:

Journeyman Wire Process Operator or Journeyman, Welder (Red Seal or Provincial) or CWB trade certificate Grade 12 Diploma or GED equivalencyRegistered Apprentices considered.Combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
