Clinical Informatics Support Analyst, Staff Development

Position Information:

The Clinical Informatics Support Analyst provides assistance with testing, system maintenance and ongoing production support of Cerner applications throughout Woodstock Hospital. The Clinical Informatics Support Analyst works collaboratively with members of the local and London Health Sciences information technology team, associated clinical educators and end users to ensure that electronic systems meet patient care team and provider needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

•Four-year University degree with undergraduate studies in a health care/clinically related field
•Minimum three years’ experience in the Clinical Health Informatics field with direct clinical support experience preferred
•Experience working with Cerner applications; knowledge of Powerchart Surginet and Firstnet applications preferred
•Electronic Health Record integration testing experience preferred
•Capacity to work and communicate effectively with all levels of hospital staff and physician groups
•Demonstrated understanding of the Cerner Patient Care system applications
•Ability to work independently with minimal direction and maximum communication
•Works well under the pressure with the ability to meet competing deadlines
•Excellent interpersonal skills with self-awareness of personal contributions in maintaining a positive team environment while utilizing advanced communication skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications
•Satisfactory performance appraisal and attendance records in present position
•Self-Direction and flexibility essential
•Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence.
•Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization (2 or more doses)
