Duties

: Perform in-patient and out-patient neurodiagnostic tests including EEG Maintain accurate records of tests performed Assist with statistical data and quality assurance Ensure equipment is functioning properly and maintain adequate supplies Collaborate with other team members to optimize use of available resources Work in a manner that is in compliance with staff and patient/client safety practices, policies and procedures of The Royal Ensure a work environment that is conducive to The Royal’s Harassment-Free Workplace policy Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Current certification with the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists (CBRET) required Undergraduate degree in Health Sciences, or a related field is required Minimum of three (3) years recent practical experience in EEG is preferred. Current CPR certification Ability to work independently as well as a member of a dynamic team Demonstrated effective decision making skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with excellent patient care skills and service excellence attitude is essential Strong organizational skills combined with effective problem solving abilities  English level A- is mandatory in oral expression, oral comprehension, reading comprehension and written expression. Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset. Salary Range: $35.77 to $48.78 per hour
