Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor customer accounts for irregularities and take appropriate action when necessary
• Conduct Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial information
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and presentation
• Apply Public Accounting and Public Accounting Audit principles in financial tasks
• Prepare Notice to Reader (NTRs) and Compilation reports
• Use CaseWare for financial reporting and auditing
• Perform bookkeeping duties to maintain financial records.
The candidate should be well-versed with the procedures of public accounting and have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin will be considered an asset. Please note that the role requires the incumbent to be on-site for three days per week.
• Proficient in Mandarin language as the role will require regular interaction with Mandarin-speaking clients
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Public Accounting
• Familiarity with Public Accounting Audit
• Experience with Notice to Reader
• Familiarity with Compilation process
• Proficiency in using CaseWare software
