Job Description

Create detailed drawings such as single-line diagrams, cable routing diagrams, and electrical installation plans using CAD software (, AutoCAD, Revit). Collaborate with the Lead Electrical Engineer to integrate project specifications into technical drawings. Prepare and maintain technical documentation and electrical Bill of Materials (BOM). Assist in the creation of load calculations and product sizing analyses. Participate in design meetings and provide technical support in drawing and documentation.

Qualifications

College diploma (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field. Previous experience as an electrical design technician or in a similar role. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD; knowledge of electrical-specific software is a plus. Understanding of relevant electrical standards and codes (, Canadian Electrical Code - CEC). Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
