Sommaire du poste

Le technicien est chargé de fournir les services d’installation, d’entretien et de réparation pour divers équipements du réseau extérieur, ainsi qu’en lien avec les services voix, de données, xDSL, IP, UTV, FiON, audio et vidéo se trouvant dans les emplacements des clients résidentiels et d’affaires, de même que le réseau de MTS.

REMARQUE: Horaires de travail atypiques, y compris les soirs et les fins de semaine.

Principales compétences

Diplôme d’études postsecondaires en technologie de l’ingénierie des communications, en technologie de l’ingénierie informatique ou en technologie de l’ingénierie électronique, ou une combinaison équivalente d’études et d’expérience Expérience pertinente dans l’installation, l’entretien et la réparation de divers équipements de télécommunications des réseaux de cuivre et sur fibre optique actuels de MTS, appelés FiON Expérience et connaissance des réseaux, de l’équipement et des protocoles IP Respect des exigences physiques de l’emploi, dont la capacité de grimper dans les poteaux, de soulever et de transporter des objets, ainsi que de travailler en hauteur Disposition à travailler dans des espaces clos et à l’extérieur, dans différentes conditions météorologiques Capacité d’obtenir des cotes de sécurité de divers niveaux pour répondre aux exigences d’affaires des clients Disposition à travailler par quarts de travail, les fins de semaine et les jours fériés Permis de conduire en règle au Manitoba et disposition à se déplacer à l’échelle de la province par divers moyens (véhicule, bateau, avion, hélicoptère, aéronef à voilure fixe, véhicule tout-terrain et motoneige) Autonomie, capacité de travailler avec un minimum de supervision et désir de travailler de façon autonome dans des endroits éloignés pendant de longues périodes

Compétences secondaires

Expérience dans l’installation et la réparation d’équipement PBX avec l’un des produits suivants : Avaya Aura (RED) ou IP Office, Meridian Option 11, 51, 61, 81 ou CS, Norstar/BCM Series, Mitel ou , Panasonic TDA30, TDE, TDE TDE, NCP , NS ou NS, Cisco Communications Manager, Centrex ou service hébergé de téléphonie IP Expérience et connaissance de l’équipement d’essai et des principes de mise à l’essai (réflectomètre optique avec indication temporelle, émetteur optique et mesureur de puissance, EXFO MAXTESTER, appareil de repérage des câbles 3M DYNATEL )
