Job Summary

As the Director of New Vendor Partnerships, you will develop and continue to grow a high-performance team comprised of 6-10 junior to veteran sales staff in our modernized and data driven sales process. You will have the opportunity to shape, improve, set and execute the sales and service strategy of the organization as you partner with other Sales Directors and your manager, the President of the Vendor Partnerships Division. Our ideal candidate has had success in both sales and people management and is looking for a high impact opportunity on a great team.

Main Responsibilities 

Develop, implement and monitor strategic sales plans by supporting and directing sales and service activities and setting performance goals and resources; accordingly, grow revenue and develop sales representatives while achieving growth across the team, through effective sales process and people management. Manage and develop your team through effective management, coaching and training; monitor daily sales activity; participate in performance appraisal program; assist team members with professional development; manage engagement and morale through the effective use of company resources and incentives Monitor and report on sales and service metrics on a weekly/monthly basis whilst executing against Info-Tech Acquire policies and best practice Identify and initiate process improvement discussions; communicate solutions, implement and track success Work with Division President and fellow Sales Directors to create and execute against the Info-Tech Acquire Strategy whilst working within company processes and policies. Promote a positive corporate image of Info-Tech by ensuring that appropriate and specified standards are maintained in all sales and service delivery activities Proactively manage accounts by conducting regular service calls with clients to ensure alignment and drive usage of the Info-Tech membership. Work marketing leads and conducts coordinated cross-channel outreach into your assigned territory to book sales presentations with prospective clients. Support cross-functional communication and collaborate with our Research and Product Teams and other internal team

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in any field ​ Minimum five (5) years front line sales experience, preferably gained in a highly transactional B2B sales environment with a consistent track record of hitting targets. ​

Preferred qualifications 

Business Acumen: Uses knowledge of the business environment and IT to engage customers.​ Self-awareness; Self-motivated with an awareness and understanding of one’s strengths and areas of development.​ Experience in an advisory, information and/or business services organization
