This organization is experiencing strong growth and is seeking a Senior Analyst, Business Insights to join their Marketing team. This is a key role that transforms complex data into actionable insights—driving smarter decisions across the business. Position Overview Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Sales, the Senior Analyst, Business Insights will lead advanced data analysis, business intelligence reporting, forecasting, and cross-functional insights. You will also support strategic planning and help identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and decision-making. Richmond Hill, ON | Hybrid (2 days in office) | Occasional Travel What You’ll Do Data Analysis & Interpretation Collect, clean, and analyze large, multi-source datasets. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies using statistical methods. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting. Business Intelligence & Reporting Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and visual reports (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik). Automate recurring reporting to streamline workflows. Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strategic Insights & Decision Support Translate analytical findings into clear strategic recommendations. Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement. Conduct competitive and market analysis. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Leadership. Support ad-hoc data requests and urgent business questions. Communicate insights in simple, actionable terms. Advanced Analytics Build predictive models and perform scenario planning. Identify operational improvements through data. Use analytics tools to solve real business challenges. Data Governance & Quality Assurance Maintain accurate documentation, definitions, and methodologies. Ensure consistency and compliance across all data outputs. Continuous Improvement Stay current with analytics tools and industry best practices. Recommend and implement automation enhancements. Qualifications Education Bachelor's or Master’s in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field. Experience 3–5+ years in data analytics or business intelligence. Experience collaborating cross-functionally in fast-paced environments. Technical Skills Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel. Expertise with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik). Strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modelling. Python or R is an asset. Soft Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and storytelling skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. High attention to detail and intellectual curiosity. Key Performance Metrics Timeliness and accuracy of dashboards and reports. Impact of insights on business strategy and outcomes. Stakeholder satisfaction and collaboration efficiency.
