Human Resources - Talent Acquisition Specialist 4789 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M2N 0G3, Canada Job Description Posted Monday, November 3, 2025 at 5:00 a.m. Purpose of this role : Be responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring exceptional talent to help Wireless DNA achieve and exceed its business goals. This role partners closely with business leaders to understand workforce needs, build talent pipelines, and deliver outstanding candidate experience. As a key ambassador of our culture, this role will lead full-cycle recruitment, strengthen employer branding, and ensure a data-driven approach to talent acquisition. Reports to: Director of Human Resources Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Talent Acquisition Partner with business leaders to design and implement proactive recruitment and retention strategies aligned to business growth. Translate workforce plans into actionable hiring roadmaps with defined metrics and service-level expectations. Proactively identify talent gaps, propose data-backed solutions, and support workforce planning initiatives. 2. Recruitment Operations Lead full-cycle recruitment for 10–12 requisitions at a time, ensuring efficiency, fairness, and quality of hire. Build and maintain high-quality candidate pipelines through networking, career fairs, and digital outreach. Track and report recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, candidate quality, conversion rates). 3. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience Act as the brand ambassador for Wireless DNA across all candidate touchpoints. Collaborate with Marketing and HR to create and share compelling content — career videos, employee spotlights, and success stories that reflect the company’s culture and values. Design engaging candidate experiences, from job postings to onboarding, that highlight Wireless DNA’s customer-first ethos. Lead participation in career fairs, social media campaigns, and community partnerships to strengthen brand visibility and talent attraction. Monitor market and competitor trends to ensure Wireless DNA remains a talent magnet in the wireless and retail industry. Train and coach hiring managers on structured interviewing and unbiased selection. Partner with HR Operations and L&D to ensure a seamless onboarding-to-retention journey. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) best practices in recruitment. Participate in special HR projects and innovation initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field. Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in retail/fast paced environment. Strong knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and HRIS systems. Experience in leveraging a variety of platforms and systems - LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS and HRIS experience. A passion for recruiting and a willingness to bring creative ideas on ways to attract talent. Experience with situational and behavioral based interviewing techniques. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills. Creative thinkers passionate about data, technology, and building meaningful candidate experiences.
