Role overview The Finance Business Partner - Commercial (FBPC) is a key member of the CCI Finance Leadership Team and as such contributes to all of the usual reporting and FP&A processes. At the same time, the role has to support and challenge the CCI Commercial team by becoming an integral part of the Commercial team, developing and providing high quality decision support information, understanding which value levers to pull, challenging on cost control, and driving value, productivity, and trust. The role works closely therefore, with the Sales & Marketing teams but also Supply Chain because understanding the cost structures by SKU is essential in order to know where the value opportunities lie. All members of Finance in CCI have goals and KPI’s which fall into 4 broad headings: We proactively manage business risk by being aware of the business environment we operate in and identifying both opportunities and risks at an early stage. We actively develop plans which will mitigate the risks and take full advantage of the opportunities. We measure and hold accountable the process owners, on cost control Creating business impact We co‑pilot with the business in all the forward‑looking, business and performance management processes We focus on value‑adding activities that can drive business value We drive an ownership mind‑set, ensuring that our stakeholders have up to date insights on financials through advanced technology What you’ll be doing Monitor the financial development of the business, proactively identify and provide recommendations for improvement and further value creation Enhance and present accurate, timely, and relevant management reports and analyses with forward looking insights Work with commercial partners to support decision making and to impact & predict business outcomes Own the commercial planning process for finance with input to the budget and estimate cycles, following up on plans to focus on actions to close gaps to targets Support the FP&A and Accounting teams to ensure data, reports and analysis are relevant, accurate, and timely Participate in Commercial and Financial projects to improve efficiencies Participate in the usual month‑end and other cyclical reporting routines What we’re looking for An accounting designation and university degree preferably in Accounting or Business Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel capabilities Experience in multi‑national companies and working in matrix structures is an asset 5+ years of experience ideally in beverage industry and FMCG Previous experience partnering with a Commercial organization/division Leadership and customer service approach to relationships with ability to take the lead and challenge Strong analytical and attention to detail skills A disciplined approach to work, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines through effective time management and planning Able to keep pace within a fast‑paced environment Comfortable with change and an ability to remain flexible Strong financial aptitude with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders We’re looking for individuals who bring not only technical expertise, but also a mindset aligned with our Growth Culture principles.
