JOB TITLE: LABORER - ELECTRICAL PRE-APPRENTICE LOCATION: AAS SHOP - SPRUCE GROVE, AB TERMS: FULL TIME (40-60 HRS per week) HOURLY RATE: $20 - $26 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE BENEFITS: DENTAL, VISION, EXTENDED HEALTH BENEFITS REQUIREMENTS: 3 MONTH PROBATIONARY/TRIAL PERIOD COMPANY OVERVIEW We are an Industrial Electrical Company that specializes in the Aggregate Industry providing on call field service/troubleshooting, new builds/fabrication etc.. to our customers in Alberta and Northern British Columbia We are looking for an motivated individual to come help us serve & solve our customers needs & issues in an ever changing, challenging & diverse work environment. WHAT WE DO/SERVICES WE PROVIDE On call field service Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting VFD’s/Soft Start/MCC Installation and maintenace Motor control systems Motor installs and wiring Parts sourcing and delivery Fabrication and painting as jobs require Design/fabricate custom solutions for customers needs Camera/remote monitoring systems CANDIDATE REQUIRMENTS Including but not limited to: Prior electrical experience while considered an asset is not required Aggregate Industry experience and/or experience working in an similar physical environment is an asset Be willing and able to receive instruction and learn new skills Must be self motivated and a team player Punctuality and responsibility are absolutley essential Must have basic hand tools, specialty tools will be provided as needed Be avalable to work out of town, occasionaly on short notice (acommodations, meals and travel are all compensated) You will assit and learn from our Journeymen and Apprentices with job tasks including but not limited to Field service work Electrical panel builds/installs Shop/service truck cleanup and maintence Welding/fabrication/painting/prepping as required Drivers License & CLEAN Driving Record Ability to pass an alcohol/drug screening
