**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, Day Shift, 7 am - 3pm, on call

**Manufacturing Experience**: 2 + years

**Requirements**:
1-3 years of experience in mechanical and maintenance

Assist production on tooling changes on the dies

Ability to perform preventative maintenance on all equipment

Ability to use most hand and power tools required for this position: wrenches, torches, volt meters, drill press, and band saw

Good knowledge of state and local safety codes

Knowledge of 120/240/480v single and three phase systems

Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues

Ability to perform simple math, and take measurements (understand how to read a tape measure)

Perform routine machine maintenance

Assist other operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to adhere to deadlines and completion of product

Follow all safety requirements for this position and all company safety guidelines

Read and comprehend production SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions

Attention to Detail, Problem-Solver, good analytical skills

Demonstrate organizational skills

Effective written and verbal communication required

Capable of reading and understanding work instructions and safety documents

Understand and read electrical schematics and blueprints (basic)

Comfortable operating a forklift

**Occupational Requirements**:
Ability to work most of the time indoors on the plant floor, with heat, dust, and noise

Ability to work some of the time outdoors in any weather

Must squat, bend or stoop as much as 25% of the time on some days.

Ability to operate hand and pneumatic powered strapping tools. Must also be able to use chains, slings and hooks

Ability to operate keyboard on microprocessor equipment

Ability to push and pull pipe stalks and coils weighing up to 50 pounds with reasonable assistance

Ability to climb stairs or ladders and work on elevated platforms

Ability to operate of lift trucks and other mobile equipment
