Responsibilities:
- Conduct complex examinations to ensure operational compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform initial research and gather information for examination projects, including reviewing applicable policies, regulations, and previous reports.
- Plan and customize examination procedures based on a risk evaluation.
- Review financial and management procedures to assess the adequacy of internal controls.
- Understand and document workflow processes and control objectives.
- Develop comprehensive documentation that outlines workflow, control objectives, and risk evaluations.
- Supervise other Officers to ensure that examinations are conducted properly and within established timeframes.
Requirements:
- Must hold a CPA designation.
- 3-5+ years of combined experience in financial sector audit practice of a national accounting firm and/or enterprise risk management consulting, preferably at a large financial institution.
- Strong foundation in Canadian Auditing Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Excellent skills in documenting business processes, identifying controls, and developing compliance tests.
- Proficient in enterprise risk management practices common in large financial institutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate complex issues clearly and concisely.
- Preferred: Completion of the Canadian Securities Course, CFO Qualifying Examination, CICA In-Depth Securities Course, and Canadian Securities Institute "Derivatives Course."

Responsabilités :
- Réaliser des examens complexes pour assurer la conformité opérationnelle avec les normes réglementaires.
- Effectuer des recherches initiales et recueillir des informations pour les projets d'examen, incluant la révision des politiques et réglementations applicables.
- Planifier et personnaliser les procédures d'examen basées sur une évaluation des risques.
- Examiner les procédures financières et de gestion pour évaluer l'adéquation des contrôles internes.
- Comprendre et documenter les processus de travail et les objectifs de contrôle.
- Développer une documentation complète qui décrit les flux de travail, les objectifs de contrôle et les évaluations des risques.
- Superviser les plus juniors pour s'assurer que les examens sont menés correctement et dans les délais établis.
Exigences :
- Doit détenir une désignation CPA.
- 3-5 ans ou plus d'expérience combinée dans la pratique de l'audit du secteur financier en cabinet comptable et/ou dans le conseil en gestion des risques d'entreprise, de préférence dans une grande institution financière.
- Solide connaissance des Normes canadiennes d'audit et des Normes internationales d'information financière.
- Excellentes compétences dans la documentation des processus d'affaires, l'identification des contrôles et le développement des tests de conformité.
- Compétent dans les pratiques de gestion des risques d'entreprise courantes dans les grandes institutions financières.
- Compétences exceptionnelles en communication, capable d'articuler clairement et de manière concise des problèmes complexes.
- Préféré : Achèvement du Cours sur les valeurs mobilières canadiennes, Examen de qualification de CFO, Cours approfondi sur les valeurs mobilières de l'ICCA et Cours sur les dérivés de l'Institut canadien des valeurs mobilières.
Excellent understanding of documenting business processes, identifying related internal controls, and developing appropriate compliance tests.
Solid grasp of examination process objectives.
Strong audit and examination techniques, including interviewing, documentation, and test plan development.
Superior knowledge of Canadian Auditing Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards.
Familiarity with Enterprise Risk Management practices at large financial institutions.
Ability to communicate complex matters both orally and in writing in a clear, concise, complete, courteous, and logical manner to ensure members' understanding and responsiveness.
Ability to detect, analyze, and evaluate complex deviations, deficiencies, and non-compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and IFRS, internal control objectives, rules, and policies.
