Nous recrutons actuellement un analyste financier senior pour rejoindre notre équipe en pleine croissance à Montréal

Le candidat retenu sera basé à Montréal, travaillant dans un cadre hybride combinant le travail à distance et la présence au bureau à notre emplacement à Saint-Laurent.
Vos Responsabilités :
Reporting Financier :
- Préparation et révision des états financiers, y compris les états des résultats et les bilans pour chaque division.
- S'assurer que toutes les informations financières sont précises, cohérentes et conformes aux principes comptables et aux réglementations pertinentes.
- Participation à la réalisation des missions d'audit et aux exigences de conformité. Participer à la transition vers les normes IFRS.
Clôture Mensuelle :
- Effectuer des tâches pour la clôture mensuelle des comptes, telles que les réconciliations des GL, la saisie des écritures de journal, l'analyse du compte de résultat, la revue des réconciliations bancaires, les améliorations de processus et la documentation des procédures financières.
Analyse Financière :
- L'analyste financier senior réalise une analyse financière approfondie, comparant les performances réelles aux chiffres budgétés et fournissant une analyse des écarts.
- Identifier les tendances financières, les opportunités et les risques potentiels, permettant à la direction de prendre des décisions éclairées pour améliorer les performances divisionnaires.
Élaboration de Budget et Prévisions :
- Développer et maintenir le processus budgétaire annuel, y compris les revenus, les dépenses et les dépenses en capital.
- Collaborer avec les chefs de département pour recueillir des données et des hypothèses pertinentes.
- Mettre régulièrement à jour les prévisions en fonction des performances réelles et des tendances du marché.
Vos Qualifications:
- Au moins une licence en comptabilité ou en finance, un CPA préféré.
- Maîtrise, à la fois écrite et verbale, de la langue anglaise est essentielle.
- Connaissance des principes comptables (PCGR/IFRS).
- 3 à 4 ans d'expérience dans un rôle comptable/financier (expérience dans un Big 4 préférée).
- Capacité à prospérer dans un environnement dynamique et à gérer plusieurs projets simultanément.

Senior Financial Analyst – Hybrid – Montreal
We’re currently hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing team in Montreal
Who We Are:
Valsoft was founded in 2015 in Montreal, Canada. Our focus is to acquire and grow vertical market software businesses that provide mission-critical solutions in their respective niche markets. So far, we have acquired over 85 businesses, and we have over 2500 employees across 20+ countries. The successful candidate will be based in Montreal, working in a hybrid setting that combines remote work and in-office presence at our location in Saint-Laurent.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Financial Reporting:
- Preparation and review of the financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets for each division.
- Ensure that all financial information is accurate, consistent, and compliant with accounting principles and relevant regulations.
- Participation in the completion of audit engagements and compliance requirements. Participate in the IFRS transition.
Monthly Close:
- Perform tasks for the monthly account closing, such as GL reconciliations, journal entry booking, analysis of the profit and loss statement, review of bank reconciliations, process improvements, and documentation of financial procedures.
Financial Analysis:
- The Senior Financial Analyst conducts in-depth financial analysis, comparing actual performance against budgeted figures and providing variance analysis.
- Identify financial trends, opportunities, and potential risks, enabling management to make informed decisions to improve divisional performance.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain the annual budgeting process, including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather relevant data and assumptions.
- Regularly update forecasts based on actual performance and market trends.
What You Bring:
- At least a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
- Proficiency, both written and verbal, in the English language is essential
- Knowledge of the accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
- 3-4 years of experience in an accounting/finance role (experience in a Big 4 preferred)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
