This opportunity is for a Marketing Manager that has a good grasp of technical telecom software products and can project manage across the marketing landscape in SEO/SEM, Content Creation, Campaign Management, Google Ads and Google Analytics. You will spearhead and lead the marketing function in this Individual Contributor role to drive revenue growth and ROI.


This opportunity is 100% remote (with occasional international travel up to 2-4 times per year). You will work with a small to medium sized company that specializes in providing telecom software solutions to some of the world’s leading telecommunication companies.


This is not a managerial role where you will manage a marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable Individual Contributor within Digital Marketing to workclosely with the Business Development Director to drive and strategize growth through B2B digital marketing.

Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies to enhance the company's global brand presence and promote our products and services.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align product marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Demonstrate project management skills and the ability to align teams and stakeholders towards key goals.


Campaign Management:

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics, perform in-depth analysis, and adjust strategies to maximize effectiveness and ROI.


Content Development:

  • Oversee the creation of engaging, industry-specific content for various digital channels to connect with target audiences.
  • Ensure content remains current with industry trends and technological advancements, addressing the specific needs of our customers.


Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engage with key stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on industry discussions and utilize social platforms to position our brand as a trusted authority in the telecommunications field.


Data Analysis:

  • Utilize analytics tools to track, measure, and report on the performance of product marketing initiatives.
  • Generate actionable insights through user research and analysis of audience needs, behaviors, and engagement to inform marketing, content development, and platform enhancements.


Collaboration:

  • Identify, scope, and lead strategic growth projects as needed, such as developing a cross-program segmentation framework or building a successful user-to-user referral strategy.
  • Collaborate effectively with external agencies and vendors to optimize performance and stay abreast of industry best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in product marketing or digital marketing roles, with a strong preference for experience in the telecommunications sector.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software product marketing or product management.
  • Proficient understanding of website technologies.
  • Proven experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems.
  • Creative in identifying target audiences and crafting engaging digital campaigns.
  • Familiarity with marketing funnel reporting and key performance indicators such as website analytics, MQLs, SQLs, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing, account-based marketing, and measurement methodologies.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), project management, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about learning.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven, team-oriented environment.
