SEO content strategist


We are currently seeking a talented and driven SEO Content Strategist to join our dynamic team.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive website content audits, keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
  • Perform exhaustive research to gain in-depth knowledge of all customer personas
  • Develop and execute content strategies to drive SEO results and build thought leadership
  • Strategize content pillars and sub-pillars
  • Structure and enrich content for SEO
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure it follows content and SEO best practices
  • Build writing style guides 
  • Create compelling and relevant content, including website copy, blog posts, landing pages and multimedia assets
  • Monitor website performance metrics, analyze data and industry trends and generate insights to refine and optimize content strategies continuously


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or a related field
  • Proven experience in content strategy, website optimization or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft and edit compelling and engaging content
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
  • Creative thinker with a passion for content marketing and continuous learning


Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Former journalist or editor
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and SEO platforms like SEMrush
  • Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress
  • Passionate about writing and SEO
