Description What you’ll be doing Support camp leadership: Assist the Camp Director in planning, organizing, and overseeing all camp operations and programs. Supervise staff and volunteers: Help recruit, train, and manage camp counsellors and support staff to ensure a high-quality camper experience. Ensure camper safety and welfare: Monitor daily activities, enforce safety protocols, and respond to emergencies or incidents promptly. Coordinate program delivery: Oversee the implementation of recreational, educational, and social activities, ensuring they meet camper needs and camp goals. Manage administrative tasks: Assist with scheduling, record-keeping, budgeting, and communication with parents and stakeholders. Facilitate staff development: Provide ongoing support, coaching, and performance feedback to camp personnel. Assist with conflict resolution: Help address camper or staff issues effectively and maintain a positive camp environment. Step in during Camp Director absence: Take on leadership responsibilities as needed to maintain smooth camp operations. Who We're Looking For Minimum age: 12 Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and software Complete training prior to start date Can commit to the shift schedule Bonus Skills Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English Previous volunteer experience Requirements Whether you meet these requirements or not, we encourage you to share your interest in us.
