Summary Reporting to the Manager, your position will drive sales to meet or exceed company goals. Customers will receive service in a professional manner. Positive and continuous contact with internal staff is critical to this sales position. Duties / Responsibilities Develop positive relationships and secure sales from assigned customers, educate customer on product, service customer needs, conduct job site visits and resolve conflicts Work with the Manager to develop Sales Budget Provide quotes and process sales ensuring all processes and deadlines are met Attend appropriate industry related events Respond to designer and production queries Proactively and systematically manage customer portfolio Attend and participate in weekly/daily sales meetings Service counter and call in customers as required Assist in design process as required Knowledge / Experience Minimum of 2 years in construction sales or equivalent design experience Knowledge of Engineering and Layout Software, and cost reporting Knowledge of CAD MS Office, MBA (Mitek Business Application) Valid class 5 driver’s license Personal Attributes Professional level of written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well with all types of personalities Positive energy and problem solving approach in all situations Strong mathematical skills with high degree of accuracy Professional personal appearance and presentation Continuous Improvement Use lean principles together with co-workers with the help of the Corporate Lean Facilitator to drive continuous improvement Safety Understand and follow company Health and Safety Policies Wear PPE as appropriate while in shop, yard or at jobsites Works With Operations Manager Customers Shipping department Sales Department Design Department All-Fab Management Team Corporate Lean Facilitator Corporate Health and Safety Corporate Human Resources Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Sales and Business Development Industries Wholesale Building Materials Location & Salary Edmonton, Alberta, Canada - CA$90,000.00-CA$120,000.00 (1 month ago) #J-18808-Ljbffr
