Grade 3 Teacher – Ashbury College Join us in welcoming Grade 3 students into our Junior School for the 2026–2027 academic year. This role is an inaugural position in the Junior School, offering an exciting expansion of our commitment to nurturing young learners. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for teaching Grade 3 core subjects, providing supervision duties, and leading school trips. You will contribute to the broader life of the school through co‑curricular programs that support student well‑being, creativity, and community engagement. Your teaching practice will reflect evidence‑based strategies, effective use of technology, and innovative approaches to course design and delivery that foster student engagement and growth. You will demonstrate a commitment to inclusive teaching practices that honour the diverse identities, experiences, and learning needs of all students. Qualifications Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers. B. Ed. (ideally in Primary and Junior grades) or M.Ed. Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching primary years. Evidence of teaching that has been enhanced by technology. Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail. Fluency in oral and written French is an asset. International Baccalaureate experience is an asset. Additional qualifications in reading and mathematics is an asset. The appointment is for an indefinite-term position, effective August 31, 2026.
