FR 100% Elem LTO, Grade 3 to 6, Core French & Arts Job posted by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB). This position is a 100% Long-Term Occasional posting for grades 3‑6. About the Board The OCDSB is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario with nearly 150 schools offering a wide range of programs. We aim to promote learning excellence and meet the individual needs of students. About the Position We are seeking creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join John Young Elementary School. The role supports the board’s Strategic Plan by creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities include delivering core French and arts instruction, fostering student success, and maintaining an inclusive classroom climate. Eligibility All occasional teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified. External applicants may apply if they meet the required qualifications. Qualifications Current elementary occasional teacher applicants (preferred). Qualified external applicants with required OCT qualifications. OCT Divisional Qualifications: Primary/Junior. OCT Additional Qualifications: FSL Part 1. Application Process The application will be assessed based on the requirements and qualifications outlined above. Minimum of three qualified applicants will be offered an interview: At least three (3) teachers currently employed as occasional teachers with the OCDSB, having the required OCT qualifications and best meeting the criteria.
