This opportunity is for a skilled Film Director to collaborate on an exciting new Thai GL series. The project is initiated by a music performance student seeking a creative partner who is passionate about storytelling and visual direction. The ideal candidate will bring a strong vision, experience in video advertising, and a commitment to delivering high-quality episodic content. This is a long-term, ongoing project with the flexibility to work remotely, making it suitable for directors who thrive in collaborative, cross-cultural environments. Responsibilities Lead the creative direction and visual storytelling for the Thai GL series Collaborate closely with the project initiator and production team to develop scripts, shot lists, and storyboards Oversee all aspects of filming, including casting, location scouting, and scheduling Direct actors and crew to achieve desired performances and production quality Ensure the series maintains a consistent tone, style, and pacing throughout all episodes Manage post-production processes, including editing, sound, and color grading Integrate video advertising elements seamlessly into the series as required Communicate effectively with remote team members and adapt to feedback throughout the project lifecycle Skills & Requirements Proven experience as a Film Director, preferably with episodic or series work Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in video advertising and narrative direction Deep understanding of GL (Girls' Love) genre and sensitivity to LGBTQ+ themes Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage long-term projects remotely Proficiency with industry-standard filmmaking equipment and editing software Creative problem‑solving skills and adaptability to evolving project needs Fluency in Thai or experience working on Thai-language productions is highly desirable About Twine Twine is a leading freelance marketplace connecting top freelancers, consultants, and contractors with companies needing creative and tech expertise.
