Summary of the opportunity - Client Overview: The Coalition is a highly acclaimed first -party studio within Xbox Game Studios, known for their critically and commercially successful Gears of War series. They are seeking a talented Background Vista Artist to join their diverse and passionate team. - Role Summary: As a Background Vista Artist, you will interpret visual, written, and verbal direction to produce high -quality 3D elements and matte paintings. Collaboration with other members of the development team is crucial to ensure the game's artistic vision and narrative requirements are met. You will have the opportunity to work on a flagship series and contribute to the production of visually stunning backgrounds. 4. What are the key responsibilities? - Create pre -visualized vista concept mockups based on the art intention in the conceptual stage. - Translate written and verbal direction into visual solutions. - Generate skies, terrains, and materials using content creation software, based on art direction and concepts. - Collaborate with art direction and design to ensure concepts meet gameplay and visual expectations. - Create 3D assets, digital matte paintings, and image projections. - Overcome visual and technical challenges with multiple solutions. - Work within established production deadlines. 5. What experience are we looking for to drive success? - MUST -Have Skills and Qualifications: years of experience in video game production and/or film production.   - Proficiency in creating and manipulating 3D and 2.5D elements to complement matte painted midgrounds and backgrounds.   - Expertise in visual composition and lighting design.   - Deep understanding of color, tone, and lighting.   - Deep understanding of composition and visual storytelling.   - Knowledge of UE5 is an asset. - Preferred Skills and Qualifications:   - Familiarity with AAA games, console games, mobile games, PC games, and film industries. 6.
