Coordinator, Government Research and Reporting Reporting to the Manager, Alternative and Renewable Energy, the Coordinator, Government Research and Reporting fulfills a critical support role by coordinating applications for Net Metering Program (NMP), Commercial & Institutional Power Producer (CIPP) & Independent Power Producer (IPP). The position is also responsible for providing financial and progress reporting and analytical support encompassing renewable energy reporting metrics. Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate applications for NMP, CIPP, and IPP. Support customers through NMP, CIPP, and IPP processes. Manage existing NMP/CIPP/IPP programs and keep the Manager, Energy Management informed. Seek out and provide advice regarding potential federal, territorial, or non‑government sources of financing for renewable activities. Prepare reports and apply for new federal funding opportunities. Provide government liaison (funding only) and research on government programs such as NRCan – CEIRRC. Control documentation for applications, technical assessments and evaluations, contracts, financial contributions, and payments to proponents. Collect and distribute data internally and externally. Provide reporting and analytical support for renewable energy metrics in conjunction with the Project Administrative Coordinator – Engineering, keeping all reporting information filed properly for audit purposes. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Resource Management, Business Administration, or Economics. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in research and reporting. Assets Experience in the utility sector. Strong administrative skills, including documentation standards. Knowledge of Nunavut, the land, language, and culture. The ability to communicate in Inuktitut, Inuinnaqtun, and/or French. A combination of education and equivalent experience may be considered. We offer a competitive starting salary range of $114,161.22 to $133,351.19 and a northern living allowance of $16,328.00 per annum. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a defined‑benefit pension program. In addition, subsidized staff housing is available for this position.
