Senior Finance Manager, Corporate Accounting We have a fantastic opportunity to join the head office of a large International nonprofit organization as the Senior Finance Manager, Corporate Accounting, on a full-time, permanent basis Reporting to the Finance Director, the Senior Finance Manager leads the corporate accounting function while providing analytical and technical support to the broader finance and administrative unit. The successful candidate is well‑versed in Canadian reporting standards and excels when analyzing data and adapting procedures to new or unusual situations. With exceptional people leadership skills, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, you bring both strategic insight and operational excellence to everything you do. Main responsibilities include: Corporate Accounting & Financial Management – Oversee accurate financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliation, month and year‑end cycles and regulatory filings, drive workflow optimization and maintain strong internal controls Team Leadership – Manage and develop the Corporate Accounting team, fostering engagement, coaching and high‑quality output Treasury & Risk Management – Manage cash, investments and cash‑flow forecasting, coordinate insurance programs and claims Audit & Compliance – Lead external audit processes, prepare draft financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. The main qualifications for this role include: Completed the CPA designation A minimum of 6 years’ accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role Strong technical knowledge of GAAP Adept at identifying process improvements and workflow efficiencies Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Good leadership skills Proficient in Excel How You Will Be Rewarded: $100,000 - $120,000 salary range Excellent benefits package 4 weeks’ vacation + holiday shutdown + 2 days Hybrid work environment – 2 days in office/week RRSP match up to 7% Internal Job ID: 4929 Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Accounting/Auditing Industries: Staffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr
