Medical Science Liaison

Ontario / Atlantic


Position Summary:

Our Pharmaceutical client is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join their team. The MSL will support the company’s products and therapeutic areas by fostering scientific and collaborative relationships, facilitating knowledge exchange with healthcare experts and internal teams to optimize patient outcomes. This is a field-based medical role reports to the Head of Medical Affairs in Canada


This Territory includes Ontario and Atlantic regions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a high level of medical-scientific knowledge related to assigned therapeutic area(s) and/or disease state(s).
  • Deliver accurate and compliant interpretations and communicate scientific, clinical, and health economic data.
  • Continuously gather and assess new information relevant to the company’s products and therapeutic interests.
  • Identify and build professional relationships with regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to ensure the exchange of relevant medical-scientific information.
  • Present approved educational programs to target healthcare audiences.
  • Collect, translate, and communicate actionable insights aligned with strategy from scientific, educational, and conference-based interactions.
  • Participate in scientific and medical conferences.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and an advanced degree in a scientific or medical field (MD, PhD, or PharmD) are required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Previous experience providing MSL-level support in therapeutic areas is preferred; experience in Women’s Health, Gastroenterology, or Cardiology is an asset.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an advantage.
  • Travel required.
